FWF article about the BUILD CARE project published

The Scilog article profiles the FWF co-funded BUILD CARE project, which investigates how everyday and care environments (home, neighbourhood, school, hospital, rehabilitation, outpatient care) shape life after childhood stroke, a rare condition often detected late and with lifelong consequences.

The project, led by Dr.-Ing. Maja Kevdzija at TU Wien, in collaboration with partners including TU Dresden (Germany,) KU Leuven (Belgium), and the Medical University of Vienna (Austria), uses an interdisciplinary approach (architecture, health economics, neuroscience) to understand how children and families experience different settings and how design can support recovery and everyday life.
